Location: Prescott, Arizona

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, and post-surgical patients
- Interpret telemetry strips and document findings each shift to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to deliver seamless patient care
- Support patients through their recovery journey with skilled nursing interventions
- Float to East Campus and PCU units when qualified, expanding your clinical expertise
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to read and interpret basic telemetry strips
- Experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA preferred
- Cerner experience recommended
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry interpretation and monitoring
- MedSurg/Tele nursing fundamentals
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Electronic health record documentation with Cerner
- Collaborative teamwork and communication
