Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy PCU unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and respond to changing patient conditions
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain safe 1:4-5 ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed while delivering excellent care
Think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration experience
Positive attitude, excellent communication, and critical thinking skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Safe drip titration techniques
Continuous EEG monitoring
Adult and geriatric patient care
Managing patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes diagnoses
