Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-31-2026

End Date: 08-30-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in on a wide variety of cases including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro procedures
Independently perform cranial procedures and handle neuro-trauma call with confidence
Assist with total joint replacements and level II trauma cases using advanced robotics like DaVinci and Mako
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth, safe patient outcomes
Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and facility policies including the no artificial nails rule
Support a fast-paced OR environment with 18 cases daily across 11 suites

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred but not required
BLS certification required
Strong orthopedic trauma and total joint experience essential
Proven ability to scrub independently on cranial and neuro procedures
Comfortable working in a level II trauma setting with EPIC documentation

Knowledge & Skills

Expert scrubbing skills across multiple specialties
Familiarity with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Strong understanding of neuro-trauma protocols and cranial procedures
EPIC EMR experience
Ability to hustle in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient safety focus
