Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including general, ENT, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotics cases
Collaborate with a dynamic surgical team in a fast-paced 16-suite operating room environment
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and expertise
Support the charge nurse and house supervisor while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Float within Zone 1 facilities when extreme needs arise to ensure seamless coverage

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of OR nursing experience with proven trauma and neuro skills
Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
Epic EMR experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile technique
Ability to handle high-volume case loads averaging 30 procedures daily
Excellent communication and teamwork in a collaborative environment
Quick decision-making during trauma and neuro emergencies
Comfortable with 30-minute call response time
