Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekends, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment with precision and care
Collaborate with the lead technologist and in-house radiologist
Maintain accurate documentation using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Provide compassionate patient care during each study
Support department needs by floating to Mercy Downtown when required

Qualifications

Active CA NMTL license required
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac imaging and SPECT procedures
Bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying studies
GE nuclear medicine equipment operation
Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Strong attention to detail and patient safety
