Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Support patient mobility safely, including transfers and ambulation
- Maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for patients
- Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team to support care plans
- Document care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies
- Follow infection control procedures and promote patient dignity and privacy
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
- Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
- Comfortable working 12-hour daytime shifts and providing direct patient care
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
- Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with solid training are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and safe patient handling
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Familiarity with documentation best practices and care charting
- Infection prevention and standard precautions
- Teamwork and effective communication with clinical staff
