Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients within the MST specialty
• Perform accurate assessments and develop patient-centered plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and transitions
• Advocate for patient needs and educate patients and families with clarity
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate concerns promptly
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and complete required documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for California
• MST clinical experience or interest in working within the MST specialty is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged
• Ability to work night per diem shifts and adapt to variable schedules
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred
• Completion of accredited nursing program and active RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with medication administration and safe practice standards
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems and documentation best practices
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and coordinate care under pressure
• Patient education, advocacy, and culturally sensitive care
• Teamwork, collaboration, and professional communication
