Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to assigned patients, prioritizing safety and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform timely patient assessments and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and providers to create and follow individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, organized charting and complete shift handoffs for continuity of care
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or T-LPN — current, active licensure required
• Previous experience as an LPN; travel LPN experience is a plus
• Ability to work 12+ hour night shifts (Mon–Wed) and provide consistent, reliable coverage
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in medication administration and patient monitoring
• Skilled in basic wound care and routine nursing procedures
• Accurate clinical documentation and electronic charting comfort
• Strong patient education and family communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under the night-shift rhythm
