Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse on assigned shifts
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses and facility staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Support patient comfort and safety while promoting dignity and respect
- Keep accurate, timely documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — active and in good standing (required)
- Ability to work the assigned schedule: Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Local-only availability (must be able to commute to Albuquerque, NM)
- Comfort working in a long-term care / rehab center environment
Education
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical LPN skills including medication administration and basic wound care
- Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
- Clear, professional communication with patients and the interdisciplinary team
- Reliable documentation and familiarity with standard nursing workflows
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
