Shift Type: Night schedule, 3x12-hour nights per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating nights with every-other-weekend coverage (night-focused, 3 nights/week)

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to keep patients safe and stable
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips per protocol (HARDSTOP requirement — candidates must be able to titrate)
- Provide advanced respiratory care including High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), tracheostomy care, and chest tube management
- Administer and manage IV therapy, central lines, and blood product administration
- Participate actively on Rapid Response and Code teams to respond to acute patient needs
- Document thoroughly and efficiently in Epic to ensure continuity of care
- Float between stepdown/IMC units while maintaining expected patient ratios (1:4)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners (respiratory, dialysis, PT, pharmacy, etc.) for coordinated patient care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (telemetry/stepdown experience preferred)
- Current BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
- Proven experience with Epic charting (charting system required)
- Demonstrated competence with IV therapy, central line care, and blood product administration
- Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips — this is a hard requirement
- Comfortable working night shifts and floating between IMC/stepdown units; able to support every-other-weekend coverage
- Completion of unit orientation (40 hours) as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry and cardiac monitoring expertise
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs
- Titration and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Tracheostomy care and non-invasive airway management
- Chest tube management (Emerson/PleurEvac) and respiratory support (HFNC, CPAP/BiPAP)
- Central line care/management and PICC line familiarity
- Blood product administration and IV therapy/starting IVs
- Pre/post hemodialysis management and familiarity with renal patient needs
- Experience using Rapid Response/Code teams and emergency response protocols
- Proficiency with Epic electronic charting
