Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Third shift; specific days not specified)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist nursing staff with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence
- Monitor and record vital signs and basic observations, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
- Document resident care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Support residents during mealtimes and help with feeding when needed, ensuring dignity and respect
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control and safety protocols
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families to deliver person-centered care
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive, collaborative care culture
Qualifications
- Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification (Maryland) or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working overnight hours and providing hands-on resident care
- Able to pass background checks and any facility-required screenings
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and patience when working with older adults
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control practices and safe resident handling
- Good documentation skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a care team
- Physical stamina for mobility assistance and prolonged standing during shifts
