Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort every day
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident status accurately and promptly
• Document care and communicate changes to the nursing team to ensure continuity
• Support infection prevention practices and maintain a safe, clean environment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to follow care plans and improve outcomes
• Step up when needed to cover every-other-weekend shifts and support the team

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or T-LNA credential (NH required; VT license accepted where applicable)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Comfortable working in a long-term care setting and supporting older adults
• Dependable, professional attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Travel LNA experience is a plus but enthusiastic first-time travelers are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident care and activities of daily living
• Accurate vital signs collection and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Clear communication with residents, families and clinical teams
• Basic electronic or paper charting skills
