Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM or 3:00 PM - 3:30 AM — must be available to work either night shift as needed; 36-hour guarantee

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage emergency patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care and save time
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based emergency nursing care across a broad range of presentations
- Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and acute cardiac events using ACLS and BLS protocols
- Provide trauma-focused nursing interventions and collaborate with the trauma team when needed
- Document thoroughly and efficiently in Meditech Expanse to support continuity of care
- Support unit operations and act on supervisory responsibilities as required by the role
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions
- Maintain current certifications and participate in required training and skills checklists
Qualifications
- Massachusetts RN license — MUST be in hand at profile upload
- Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
- Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) and TNCC certifications — all must be uploaded with your profile
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion (strongly required)
- Current Emergency Room and Supervisory skills checklists (within 1 year) — required documents
- Traveler must have own vehicle for this assignment
- Agency submissions must include Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) up front
Knowledge & Skills
- Dysrhythmia recognition and cardiac monitoring interpretation
- Trauma nursing and rapid assessment skills
- Proficiency or familiarity with Meditech Expanse (strongly preferred)
- Strong triage, critical thinking, and prioritization in high-acuity settings
- Clear clinical documentation and electronic charting skills
- Ability to work autonomously and support supervisory tasks when requested
- Dependable, punctual, and able to provide interview availability and scheduling details at submission
