Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (12-hour night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies with keen attention to patient safety and image clarity
- Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment (mostly GE systems) to ensure efficient workflow
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and ER teams for trauma and stroke cases
- Prioritize rapid, accurate scanning for high-acuity patients and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and exam documentation
- Follow infection control, radiation safety, and unit-specific policies and guidelines
- Provide compassionate, calm patient care—especially for critically ill or agitated patients
- Support unit staffing needs, rotating weekends and limited on-call responsibilities
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT certification (or equivalent) for CT
- Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
- NMTCB, RDMS, TMB credentials or modality-specific license a strong plus
- Minimum 1 year of CT/radiology experience (trauma and stroke experience preferred)
- Strong scanning and patient positioning skills
- Ability to work nights and rotating weekends and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, calm demeanor and proven team-player attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in CT scanning protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and common troubleshooting
- Comfort managing high-acuity trauma and stroke workflows
- Solid patient assessment and communication skills for diverse populations
- Basic knowledge of EMR documentation and imaging information systems
- Attention to radiation safety and regulatory compliance
