Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess communication, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing needs for children birth to 5
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP/IFSP goals
- Deliver direct therapy in early childhood and school-based settings with compassion
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required reporting on time
- Educate and coach families and staff to embed strategies into daily routines
Qualifications
- Active Oregon SLP license preferred; candidates pending licensure or applying are considered if noted
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or equivalent credentials where applicable
- Experience working with children birth to 5 and familiarity with school-based service delivery
- Comfort with assessment tools, IEP/IFSP processes, and individualized goal writing
- Current TB clearance, background check, and any district-required documentation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong pediatric speech-language assessment and intervention skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development and birth-to-5 best practices
- Skilled in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and communicating with families
- Proficient documentation, progress tracking, and IEP/IFSP development
- Adaptability to different school and early intervention environments
