Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care for patients during the night shift, making a real difference when sleep is most precious
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time, following physician orders
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and document findings clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure safe transitions
• Support patients and families with clear communication and patient education
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and accurate charting to protect patients and staff
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and bedside procedures as needed during the shift

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential required
• Willingness and ability to work nights and participate in an every-other-weekend rotation
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, compassion, and dependable attendance
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration and documentation skills
• Patient assessment and observation with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during a busy night shift
• Basic wound care, IV site observation, and routine nursing procedures
