Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients according to the care plan
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs, reporting changes to the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent patient care
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and transitions
• Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and emergency situations

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse classification as listed
• Active nursing license appropriate for practice (LPN or RN) required
• Current basic clinical nursing skills and the ability to follow established protocols
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings

Education

• Completed nursing education appropriate to role (LPN diploma or RN degree)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Effective communication and teamwork with clinical staff and leadership
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient safety
• Comfort with electronic health records and standard clinical documentation
