Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, strengths-based clinical services using evidence-based approaches
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that support client goals
• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling to address a range of mental health needs
• Perform screening follow-up and provide brief therapy and crisis intervention as needed
• Offer case management and make appropriate referrals to support whole-person care
• Collaborate alongside medical staff in the outpatient clinic to integrate behavioral and physical health
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation that supports continuity of care
• Engage respectfully and effectively with culturally diverse clients and community partners

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or related human services field
• Active LMFT, LPC, LBHP, or LCSW — or working toward Alaska licensure with ability to obtain within six months of hire
• Minimum of one year of direct clinical experience providing assessments, treatment planning, counseling, and documentation
• Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention, case management, and working with individuals, families, and groups
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort working with diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use standard office equipment

Education

• Master's degree in a human services field (Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or related)
