Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents per plan of care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Assess resident condition and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to create and follow individualized care plans
• Support residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, timely charting and records
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Class: LPN) — active or eligible in New Mexico
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work the scheduled night shifts (Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medication administration and nursing best practices
• Proficiency in basic clinical assessments and charting/documentation
• Comfort working in a fast-paced long-term care environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with residents and families
• Ability to follow care plans and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
