Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies with attention to patient safety and diagnostic accuracy
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring images meet facility and physician standards
• Follow infection control, radiation safety and facility protocols on every exam
• Verify patient identity, evaluate contraindications and screen for required immunizations/tests
• Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and complete the Trinity Skills Checklist as required
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and support staff to provide seamless patient care
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families to explain procedures and reduce anxiety

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) — required
• License/Certificate Verification required (state RT license / CT certification as applicable)
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and any facility onboarding requirements
• Successful completion of required health screenings: Fit Test, Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, and a physical/health statement
• Comfort working rotating shifts and covering every third weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency operating CT scanners and performing routine CT exams
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and patient positioning
• Good clinical judgment and ability to recognize and escalate urgent findings
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and facility compliance standards
