Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (examples: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM day, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM night, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM). Schedules vary and include both day and night coverage (rotating shifts).

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced ED
- Perform ED emergent procedures and manage critical interventions with confidence
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR to ensure continuity and safety
- Triage patients effectively and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prioritize care
- Maintain patient ratios (approximately 1:3-4) while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Communicate clearly with patients and families to provide excellent customer service and support
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure (RN) required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (experience in Emergency Department or emergency nursing preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- ENPC, TNCC, and IO training preferred
- Comfortable with ED emergent procedures and working in a high-acuity setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record
- Strong emergency assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to perform ED emergent procedures and prioritize under pressure
- Excellent communication and patient/customer service skills
- Independent, self-motivated approach with a caring and collaborative mindset
