Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, timely emergency medical care to patients of all ages
• Triage, evaluate, stabilize and manage acute presentations in a busy ED
• Lead resuscitations and coordinate care during critical situations
• Document care accurately and efficiently using Cerner
• Collaborate closely with nursing, consultants and ancillary services to optimize patient flow
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical competencies
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately about diagnosis and care plans

Qualifications

• Active Michigan medical license required at time of submission
• 1+ years of ER experience required
• ACLS required
• BLS (AHA) required
• PALS required
• TNCC preferred
• Current, valid credentials and ability to work in the US

Education

• MD or DO (or equivalent medical degree)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency medicine clinical knowledge and rapid decision-making
• Trauma assessment and stabilization skills
• Proficiency in ACLS and pediatric resuscitation (PALS)
• Comfort leading teams during resuscitations and high-acuity cases
• Experience documenting and navigating Cerner EMR
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
