Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients during overnight shifts
- Perform accurate patient assessments and timely documentation to support continuity of care
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility policies
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans
- Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to ensure patient safety
- Support admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed during your shift
Qualifications
- Current LPN license valid in New Mexico
- Minimum experience working 12-hour night shifts or demonstrated ability to work overnight
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Local candidates only (must be able to come in 4-5 days before the first shift for clearance)
- Comfortable with clinical documentation and medication administration on overnight shifts
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent vocational nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and patient observation skills
- Medication administration and safe handling practices
- Clear, timely charting and communication with care teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs during night hours
- Team-oriented mindset with a patient-first approach
