Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that preserves dignity and independence
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support safe mobility and transfers while following facility protocols
- Monitor and document resident status, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships through clear, respectful communication with residents and families
- Participate in team huddles and care planning to contribute to high-quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) or equivalent certification
- Active/state nursing assistant certification for Maryland preferred or ability to obtain
- Comfortable working in a long-term care setting and supporting older adults
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to follow care plans and facility policies
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to resident care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic resident care principles and activities of daily living
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility
- Comfort with documentation and reporting changes in resident condition
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Teamwork mindset and effective interpersonal skills with residents and staff
