Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents of Laconia Rehab Ctr
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform routine assessments and monitor patient status overnight, reporting changes promptly
• Document care thoroughly and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Support patient mobility, comfort, and safety while promoting dignity and respect
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure continuity of care during shift handoffs

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing
• Recent clinical experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with medication administration and dosing documentation
• Skilled in resident assessment and recognizing clinical changes
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Strong patient/family education and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during overnight hours
