Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Operate and document exams in EPIC accurately and promptly
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure proper positioning and imaging protocols
• Maintain radiation safety standards and follow infection control practices
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to support patient care
• Respond to on-call or overnight requests as required and adapt to rotating schedules
• Complete required competency exams, skills checklists, and mandated health screenings

Qualifications

• Current certification and experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification is required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Demonstrated EPIC experience is a must
• Willingness and ability to work evenings, rotating weekends, nights, and graveyard shifts
• Ability to pass Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and required health screenings
• Up-to-date immunizations and clearance including TB screening, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Varicella, and influenza as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Experienced with EPIC for order entry, documentation, and imaging workflows
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable handling overnight/on-call responsibilities and fast-paced scenarios
