Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Provide compassionate patient care, including screening and education prior to imaging
• Ensure strict adherence to MRI safety protocols and infection control measures
• Complete required competency exams, skills checklists, and documentation accurately
• Verify licenses and certifications are current and maintain credentialing paperwork
• Collaborate with radiology team members to support efficient workflow and patient throughput
• Participate in required health screenings and workplace safety processes

Qualifications

• Active MRT/MRI Technologist background (MRT Technician experience required/preferred)
• BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification (listed as required)
• License/certificate verification required prior to start
• Ability to complete Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
• Compliance with required personal health history items (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, TB testing, Hep B, influenza, Tdap, varicella, fit test, drug screen)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, patient positioning, and image acquisition
• Familiarity with MRI safety zones and implant screening processes
• Comfort with completing competency exams and specialty checklists
• Good communication and patient-assessment skills for peri-procedural care
• Attention to detail for documentation and credential maintenance
• Ability to follow infection control protocols and occupational health requirements
