Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures accurately and safely during night coverage
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment while following infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Position patients and apply technical expertise to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with night-shift clinical team members to support patient care and handoffs
• Document procedures, patient history, and imaging findings clearly in the medical record
• Complete required competency exams and checklists to maintain clinical excellence
• Participate in required screenings and immunization verification to meet facility health standards

Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist (RT) credential or equivalent as required by facility
• BLS certification (listed as required)
• DCI/BVP certification (listed as required)
• Per Diem and night-shift availability and willingness to work overnight coverage
• Compliance with required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, TB test or PPD/chest x-ray, drug screening, fit test)
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam prior to or during onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, and image acquisition
• Familiarity with imaging equipment operation and basic troubleshooting
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control practices
• Comfortable working independently during night shifts and making sound clinical decisions
• Clear communication skills for documenting procedures and coordinating with clinical teams
• Attention to detail for competency checklists, exams, and required documentation
