Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams with accuracy and compassion
• Operate sonography equipment and optimize images for clinician review
• Document findings and maintain clear, timely patient records
• Follow established protocols and complete Prime competency assessments
• Collaborate with nursing and physician teams to support patient care
• Maintain infection control, vaccine/testing compliance, and safety standards
• Participate in required license and competency verification processes

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification (required)
• License/Certificate Verification completed prior to start
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam as required
• Ability to meet facility health requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, TB testing, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, fit test, drug screen)
• Per diem availability to work nights

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in diagnostic ultrasound and sonography techniques
• Familiarity with diagnostic imaging workflows and documentation
• Comfortable with competency-based testing and checklists
• Strong patient communication and bedside manner, especially for night patients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
