Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist cardiology team during catheterization procedures with focus and care
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and supplies to ensure smooth cases
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the care team promptly
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control protocols
• Document procedures and patient information accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs to deliver excellent patient care
• Participate in competency testing and skills validation to maintain high standards

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification as listed in the order (required)
• License/Certificate verification completed prior to start
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam as required
• Able to pass required health screenings and immunizations

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience working in a cath lab environment or familiarity with cath lab workflows
• Strong attention to sterile technique and patient safety
• Comfortable with procedural support tasks and equipment setup
• Good communication skills for clear handoffs and teamwork
• Ability to follow protocols and complete required competency testing
