Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor patients continuously, observing rhythms and changes with attention and care
• Report significant clinical changes to the care team promptly and clearly
• Perform required competency checks and specialty exams as part of ongoing quality
• Complete accurate documentation of monitoring events and patient status
• Maintain equipment readiness and escalate technical issues to biomedical staff
• Support infection control practices and comply with all required health screenings
• Participate in required training including Prime Core Competencies and Prime Specialty Exam

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• License or certificate verification completed and current
• Ability to pass Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Specialty Exam, and Prime Skills Checklist
• Must meet all health requirements including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, TB screening, drug screen, fit test, and other listed immunizations and health statements
• Per diem availability for day shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with cardiac/physiological monitoring basics and alarm recognition
• Strong observational skills and clear communication with clinical teams
• Comfortable following checklists and completing competency assessments
• Attention to documentation detail and timely reporting
