Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, compassionate nursing care to patients during night hours
- Perform medication administration and accurate documentation per facility policy
- Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and escalate as needed
- Assist with admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers during your shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
- Complete required competency checks and testing to maintain clinical readiness
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including vaccination and screening requirements
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in California (or eligible for verification)
- Current BLS certification required
- DCI/BVP credentialing as required by the facility
- Successful completion of License/Certificate Verification and Prime competency exams (Basic Pharmacology, Core Competencies, Skills Checklist, Specialty Exam)
- Current immunizations and health screenings per facility policy (COVID-19, MMR, TB test, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, drug screen, fit testing)
- Strong clinical judgment, reliable night-shift stamina, and excellent communication skills
Education
- Vocational Nursing diploma or completion of an accredited LVN program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Competence with medication administration and basic pharmacology principles
- Patient assessment and monitoring during overnight hours
- Charting and documentation best practices
- Infection control, PPE use, and fit testing familiarity
- Ability to perform and pass facility competency evaluations and specialty exams
- Teamwork mindset and ability to coordinate with night staff and on-call providers
