Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiography exams and imaging procedures with care and accuracy
• Collaborate closely with cardiology and clinical teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Document exam findings and ensure accurate, timely charting according to facility standards
• Maintain equipment, adhere to quality assurance protocols, and participate in competency testing
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
• Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort during exams

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification (listed in order requirements)
• Active license/certification verification as required by facility
• Successful completion of required Prime exams and specialty checklists (Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist, Prime Specialty Exam)
• Ability to pass required health screenings and vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, TB, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap) and drug screening
• Previous echocardiography/echo tech experience preferred; comfortable working night shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in echocardiography techniques and echo equipment operation
• Strong patient communication and bedside manner for diagnostic imaging
• Attention to detail for accurate imaging and documentation
• Familiarity with competency testing and quality assurance processes
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and collaborate with on-site teams
