Shift Type: Day shift — Monday-Friday, 3 days per week, every third weekend (specific clock-in/clock-out times not provided)
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care to adult patients in the Medical ICU
- Monitor and assess patients continuously, responding quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, IVs and advanced therapies safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and multidisciplinary team members to create and carry out care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required Prime skills and specialty competency assessments
- Champion patient- and family-centered care through clear communication and compassionate support
- Participate in unit initiatives to improve patient outcomes and streamline workflows
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (state licensure required)
- Experience working in ICU / Medical ICU settings
- DCI/BVP certification (as listed in job requirements)
- Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist and Prime Specialty Exam as part of onboarding
- Ability to meet required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, TB test/PPD, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, drug screen, fit test, physical/health statement)
Knowledge & Skills
- ICU nursing and critical care principles
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Familiarity with medical ICU workflows and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Competence in patient care tasks and monitoring required in critical care environments
- Comfort with skills validation and specialty competency testing (Prime)
