Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adult ICU patients during night shifts
• Assess and monitor complex patients using advanced hemodynamic and ventilator management skills
• Administer medications and titrate drips safely according to protocol and provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code and rapid response situations
• Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient responses clearly and accurately in the EMR
• Mentor and support colleagues by sharing best practices and contributing to a positive unit culture

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Kansas or compact RN licensure as required
• BLS and ACLS required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Current immunizations and screening per facility policy including COVID-19, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Hepatitis B, Tdap, TB testing or documented history
• Fit test and negative drug screening (minimum 10-panel) required
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam as part of onboarding
• Previous ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills
