Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate direct patient care on a telemetry unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Communicate changes and critical findings to physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Perform patient and family teaching to support recovery and self-care after discharge
- Direct and guide other nursing personnel to maintain high standards of care
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Participate in required competency exams and specialty skill checklists to ensure top-quality care
Qualifications
- Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Telemetry experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Ventilator management experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred
- Ability to work nights and be available on weekends
- Successful completion of required screenings and credentialing (drug screen, immunizations, fit test, Nursys verification)
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry nursing and cardiac monitoring proficiency
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience with patient/family education and discharge teaching
- Comfort with ventilator basics and respiratory support (preferred)
- Rhythm interpretation and basic pharmacology knowledge
- Clear communication, teamwork, and time management in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with competency exams and specialty skills checklists
