Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards, facility policy and state practice act
• Document patient care and clinical findings clearly and accurately to meet standards of care
• Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians, patients and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity and quality of care across units
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes
• Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to identify safety concerns and escalate appropriately
• Float to other in-patient units as census requires, providing clinical support where needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin (WI) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
• Comfort and ability to float to other inpatient units as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient safety
