Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients' communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document progress, discharge planning, and communication with families and caregivers
• Provide training and education to staff and family members to support carryover of therapy
• Adjust therapy approaches based on patient response and clinical best practices

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field preferred
• State SLP license (required) and ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or in progress
• Current CPR certification as required by facility
• Minimum clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; AuD/PhD candidates may be considered where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Strong clinical reasoning and goal-writing abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and family-education skills
• Comfortable with documentation and electronic medical records
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
