Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions and assist patients with mobility and functional goals
• Implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the physical therapist
• Assist with gait training, transfers, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to promote recovery
• Float between Powerback and Langdon Place of Keene as needed, maintaining consistent care standards
• Monitor patients for safety and report clinical changes to supervising therapist promptly

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible Physical Therapist Assistant in New Hampshire
• Graduation from an accredited PTA program
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• Comfortable floating between facilities and adapting to different patient populations
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on, compassionate approach to patient care
• Available for a 13-week contract beginning January 19, 2026

Education

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and gait training
• Familiarity with common rehab modalities and assistive devices
• Proficient with documentation and electronic medical records
• Ability to assess patient safety and implement appropriate precautions
• Good time management, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills
