Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing and mobility
• Provide compassionate care tailored to geriatric needs and comfort
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns
• Support mealtime needs and safe feeding assistance as required
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Collaborate with nursing staff and the care team to create a calm, respectful environment

Qualifications

• Current GNA certification or completion of an accredited GNA program (Class: GNA)
• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited GNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and safe patient handling
• Basic vital signs and observational skills
• Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
• Person-centered care, dignity and empathy for older adults
• Team collaboration and clear communication with nursing staff
