Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during 12-hour night shifts
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and escalate changes promptly
• Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans
• Support admissions, discharges, and transitions of care efficiently and with empathy
• Contribute to a positive work environment by mentoring peers and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — ready to practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and adapting to rotating schedules
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
• Professional attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent clinical training

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and basic patient care skills
• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care or skilled nursing environment
