Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Perform safe transfers, mobility assistance and bedside care with dignity
• Document care activities and observations accurately and on time
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
• Promote a safe, clean and comfortable environment for all residents

Qualifications

• Current GNA certification or equivalent in good standing
• Ability to work the night shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Comfortable providing direct resident care and assisting with mobility
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Proof of required immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of geriatric care principles and respectful resident-centered care
• Skilled in assisting with ADLs, transfers and basic bedside care
• Familiarity with accurate charting and documentation practices
• Good infection control practices and attention to safety
• Time management, observation skills and clear communication with nursing staff
