Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological care across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participate in a shared call rotation to deliver 24/7 neurologic support at a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurologic conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headaches, multiple sclerosis and movement disorders
• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, primary care physicians, neuropsychology and other specialists to coordinate multidisciplinary care
• Contribute to program growth, innovation and quality improvement in neurological services
• Support and participate in teaching, mentorship and clinical leadership activities as desired

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology (U.S.) — REQUIRED
• Provider must meet U.S. board eligibility/certification standards
• Not accepting visa candidates (posting explicitly states this restriction)
• Ability and willingness to participate in shared call rotation for inpatient/stroke coverage
• Experience or comfort with both inpatient and outpatient neurology practice, including acute stroke care

Education

• Completion of Neurology residency and appropriate U.S. board certification or eligibility (MD/DO or equivalent training implied)

Knowledge & Skills

• Acute stroke management and Primary Stroke Center operations
• Epilepsy, headache, multiple sclerosis and movement disorder diagnosis and management
• Strong clinical decision-making across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Effective multidisciplinary care coordination and communication
• Teaching, leadership and program development skills are a plus
