Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient care to adults and pediatric patients in family or internal medicine
• Manage an average daily patient panel of about 14 patients with thoughtful, efficient visits
• Complete timely charting and EMR documentation to ensure continuity of care
• Coordinate care across disciplines to keep patients connected to the services they need
• Participate in the on-call phone rotation to support patients after hours
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to improve clinical outcomes
• Lead and contribute to quality improvement projects that make the practice better
• Maintain required clinical licensure and certifications to practice safely and legally

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (Staff MD position)
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Maintains valid medical licensure and required clinical certifications
• Comfortable providing care across the lifespan, including pediatric and adult patients
• Willingness to participate in on-call phone rotation (1:11)
• Able to commit to a primary practice location (not open to candidates who commute more than 1 hour or who plan to combine this role with another position)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care

Education

• MD or DO
• Completed residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Knowledge & Skills

• Outpatient clinical care and patient management expertise
• Proficient charting and EMR documentation practices
• Care coordination across multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives
• Ability to handle on-call phone coverage professionally and efficiently
• Administrative skills for clinic workflows and documentation
