Shift Type: Full-time (schedule negotiable); in-person outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage; On-call ~10 days per month

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient hematology/oncology care—managing roughly 15-20 patients per day
- Manage inpatient oncology patients and coordinate hospital care (about 3-5 patients per day)
- Cover on-call responsibilities as part of the team rotation (approximately 10 days/month)
- Collaborate closely with the two physicians in practice and the multispecialty team to ensure cohesive care
- Document thoroughly and efficiently in EPIC to maintain clear, patient-centered records
- Deliver compassionate care to a mixed adult and geriatric patient population (roughly 50/50)
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care across the ARMC and Cleveland Clinic networks
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and supportive resources
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing
- Minimum 1+ year clinical experience as an NP/PA in a hematology/oncology clinic or hospital setting (RN, training, or general practice/IM/FM experience does not satisfy this requirement)
- Experience using EPIC electronic medical record
- Willingness to work in-person and to live within a 40-mile radius or relocate as needed
- Available to participate in on-call rotation (~10 days per month)
- Not accepting Locums candidates
Education
- Graduate degree/certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge in hematology and oncology care
- Experience in both outpatient oncology practice and inpatient hospital care
- Comfort managing both adult and geriatric patient populations
- Proven ability to handle on-call responsibilities and triage urgent issues
- Proficient documentation skills in EPIC
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Patient education and care coordination skills
