Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday typical daytime clinic hours (negotiable) with primarily outpatient coverage (90% outpatient / 10% inpatient); On-call coverage approximately 10 days per month

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urologic care to adult and geriatric patients in clinic and hospital settings
- Perform surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted cases using the DaVinci surgical system
- Manage outpatient clinic flow, coordinate care with primary care and specialty colleagues, and strengthen referral relationships
- Participate in on-call coverage and timely inpatient consults as required
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC
- Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality consistent with Joint Commission standards and ARMC recognitions
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited Urology residency
- Board certification or board eligibility in Urology preferred
- State medical license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience or comfort with robotic-assisted surgery (DaVinci system) is highly desirable
- Proficiency with EMR systems, EPIC experience preferred
- Willingness to live within a 40-mile radius of Ashtabula or relocate to meet that requirement
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation (approximately 10 days/month)
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
Education
- MD or DO, completion of Urology residency; board certification or eligibility preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong surgical and operative skills, including robotic-assisted techniques
- Clinical expertise in adult and geriatric urology
- Familiarity with outpatient clinic management and inpatient consult workflows
- Experience using EPIC for documentation and care coordination
- Comfort with PVR scanner use and basic office-based urology equipment
- Excellent communication, teamwork and patient-focused bedside manner
- Ability to work effectively within a multispecialty group and regional health network
