Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures while assisting residents with transfers and ambulation
• Follow individualized care plans and ensure documentation is accurate and timely
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and practice infection control standards consistently
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to advocate for resident needs
• Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive, resident-centered workplace culture

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — T-LNA or LNA classification accepted
• Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable working day shifts with an every-other-weekend rotation
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality resident care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program and LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of activities of daily living and basic nursing care practices
• Competent in taking and documenting vital signs and observing clinical changes
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and staff
• Basic infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to follow care plans and facility policies accurately and consistently
