Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in a busy ED environment
• Deliver high-caliber patient-centered care that improves outcomes and experience
• Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and paramedics to coordinate seamless care
• Manage trauma and high-acuity cases following established ED protocols
• Document patient care thoroughly and efficiently using MediTech EMR
• Operate and monitor GE patient monitors and other ED equipment
• Support safe patient admissions and transitions to hospital holding when needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license (graduation from an accredited nursing program required)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (ED experience strongly preferred)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (required)
• Comfortable with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekend schedules
• Experience with MediTech EMR and GE monitors is a plus
• High-caliber patient experience skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency department nursing and triage best practices
• Rapid patient assessment and prioritization
• Trauma care fundamentals and zone-based patient ratios (1:4 in zone)
• Proficiency with MediTech documentation and GE monitoring systems
• Strong communication, adaptability, and high-energy work style
