Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to CCU patients and their families
• Manage advanced therapies including CRRT and balloon pump support with confidence
• Perform and assist with procedures such as cardioversion and hypothermia protocols
• Maintain and care for central lines and safely titrate medication drips
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Advocate for patient safety and maintain the unit's 1:2 patient ratio standard

Qualifications

• Active RN with ICU / Critical Care experience
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as specified for this role
• Must have: BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity CCU environment and using advanced cardiac support equipment

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with CRRT and balloon pump therapies
• Familiarity with hypothermia protocols and cardioversion procedures
• Skilled in central line care and managing continuous medication drips
• Experience documenting and charting in Meditech EMR
• Strong critical thinking, organization, and the ability to work in a 1:2 patient ratio
