Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Coordinate and oversee Trinity specialty competency testing for clinical teams
• Verify licenses and ensure all staff meet credentialing and compliance requirements
• Manage staff schedules and coverage for per-diem assignments
• Coach and mentor nurses to strengthen clinical skills and professional growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold facility policies and regulatory standards
• Ensure completion of required health screenings and immunizations for staff
• Serve as a clinical resource during shifts and escalate issues to leadership when needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York) required
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing and license verification
• Must be able to complete required health screenings: fit test, drug screen, TB testing or IGRA, and required vaccinations
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on nursing skills and clinical judgment
• Staff supervision, coaching, and performance oversight
• Familiarity with competency testing and clinical skills validation
• Knowledge of infection prevention and immunization requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to regulatory compliance and accurate documentation
